Eraso

In Eraso street in Madrid, the Home Art Apartments project represents a successful fusion between rationalist architecture and contemporary interior design that is committed to warmth and character. Ricardo de la Torre is responsible for the decorative intervention of these urban flats, where every corner has been designed to transmit an experience of elevated comfort, without losing the link with the functional. The building, with its sober lines and clean structure, finds its true aesthetic expression in the interior design: well-cared-for spaces, noble materials and a very contemporary sensitivity to detail.

The treatment of the common areas, from the foyer to the gymnasium, is an example of the balance between elegance and spatial efficiency. Circulations are conceived as extensions of the home, not mere corridors. Natural wood, indirect lighting and a selection of minimalist furniture make these spaces pleasant transitions with identity. The gym, completely integrated into the language of the complex, escapes from the merely technical: warm floors, strategic mirrors and decorative elements bring it closer to a private club than to a conventional gym.

In the interior of the flats, De la Torre's intervention emphasises light and proportion. Neutral tones, natural textiles and timeless design pieces predominate. The kitchens are visually integrated with the living room, opting for clean surfaces, panelled appliances and brass or wood details. The result is a welcoming, refined aesthetic, but with character. There is a clear intention: to create homes where design is not decorative, but a tool for better living.

The complex is conceived as a long-distance urban hospitality project. Ricardo de la Torre manages to give each flat a soul, without resorting to the superfluous, and turns Home Art Eraso into a flexible, elegant and contemporary housing model. An intervention that dignifies rental housing through intelligent design, aesthetic sensitivity and an honest look at how to live in the present.
