Ricardo de la Torre

INTERIOR

Don Ramón de la Cruz

The building is located in the heart of Calle Don Ramón de la Cruz, in the central Salamanca district of Madrid, and has been equipped with all kinds of amenities: garage, lobby, interior garden, roof terrace, swimming pool, gym and meeting room. However, in order to recall its past, the original brick façade and wrought iron balconies have been respected. In addition, on the ground floor, an iron latticework has been designed to unite the classic and the contemporary in its design.
On entering the building, the lobby area is striking for the materials selected: different types of marble that seem to converse with each other. In addition, one of the walls has been panelled in V-shaped wood along the same lines as the exterior latticework.
This particular type of flat is distributed in a kitchen open to the living room, three en-suite bedrooms and a guest toilet. It stands out for its interior design in which, once again, personalised touches are the key.

In the living room, the sofa, armchairs, coffee table and rug are designed by the interior designer and are combined with pieces such as the Laurel table by the Italian Luca Nichetto.

In the rest of the house, almost all the furniture bears the de la Torre stamp, from the headboard to the kitchen.
As for the common areas of the building, spaces such as the garden stand out, where heptagonal panels have been added to create the sensation of movement and in which a vertical garden by Juan Gerstl stands out, turning the courtyard into the green lung of this renovated building.
